Auric provides a 7-day free trial for eligible subscription plans. The purpose of the trial period is to allow prospective customers to evaluate the Services before incurring payment.
This Refund Policy describes (i) Consumer cancellation rights, (ii) exceptions to those rights, and (iii) Auric's no-refund terms for transactions where cancellation rights do not apply.
By initiating a paid subscription or otherwise submitting payment, you acknowledge that:
You have had the opportunity to evaluate the Services during the trial period
You understand the functionality and limitations of the Services
You accept the Services “as is” under the Terms of Service
If you are a Consumer, and unless an exception below applies, you may cancel this Agreement and return the Product within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period expires 14 days from the day after completion of the Transaction.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning exercise of the cancellation right before the 14-day period expires.
To cancel your order, you must inform Auric Apps of your decision through the support/contact channel provided by Auric Apps for your transaction. For subscription services, this cancellation right applies to the initial subscription and not to each automatic renewal.
You may also communicate your cancellation request using a model cancellation form or any other clear, unambiguous statement through available communication channels.
If you cancel this Agreement as permitted above, all payments received from you for the cancelled transaction will be reimbursed.
Reimbursement will be made without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed of your decision to cancel.
Reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment used for the initial transaction, and you will not incur reimbursement fees.
Your Consumer right to cancel does not apply to Digital Content that you have started to download, stream, access, or otherwise acquire, and to Products for which you have already had the benefit, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
The Services may allow you to purchase access to Products on a subscription basis (“Paid Subscriptions”). Paid Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled.
Auric will notify you if the price of a Paid Subscription increases and, where required by applicable law, seek your consent to continue.
Recurring charges are processed between 00:00 and 01:00 (UTC) on the day the Paid Subscription period renews.
If you wish to cancel your subscription, contact us at https://support.auriccloud.com/support at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period. Please provide your order number and the email address used to purchase the Product.
Your cancellation will take effect on the next payment date. There are no refunds for unused portions of subscription periods, except where required by applicable law or as expressly stated in this policy.
Certain Paid Subscriptions may offer a free trial before charging your payment method. If you decide to unsubscribe before charges begin, you must cancel before the trial period expires by contacting us at https://support.auriccloud.com/support.
If we cannot charge your payment method for any reason (including expiration or insufficient funds), and you have not cancelled your Paid Subscription, you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts. Auric reserves the right to cancel your Paid Subscription if renewal charges cannot be successfully processed.
After the 7-day free trial expires and where no mandatory cancellation/refund right applies:
All subscription fees are non-refundable
No prorated refunds will be issued for partial billing periods
Cancellation prevents future billing only
Access continues through the end of the paid billing cycle
Failure to use the Services does not constitute grounds for a refund.
If you:
Enter into a signed Enterprise Agreement
Accept a discounted plan requiring a minimum commitment term
Sign an Order Form or pricing agreement with a fixed term (e.g., 6 months, 12 months)
Then:
You are responsible for the full contractual amount
Early termination does not relieve payment obligations
No refunds will be issued for unused time under a committed term
Any deviation must be approved in writing by an authorized officer of Auric.
Where applicable:
Usage-based fees, overages, API consumption, messaging fees, enrichment credits, or third-party pass-through costs are non-refundable.
Charges generated by system usage are deemed accepted once incurred.
If you believe you were charged in error, you must notify Auric in writing within 7 calendar days of the charge date.
Auric will investigate in good faith. If a verifiable billing error occurred due solely to a system fault attributable to Auric, we may correct the error at our discretion.
Failure to notify Auric within 7 days constitutes acceptance of the charge.
Refunds outside mandatory legal rights are provided at the sole discretion of Auric Apps and/or Auric on a case-by-case basis and may be refused.
Refund requests may be refused where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or manipulative behavior, including behavior that entitles Auric Apps and/or Auric to counterclaim the refund.
This does not affect your Consumer rights for Products that are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting Auric constitutes a material breach of the Terms of Service.
Auric reserves the right to:
Immediately suspend or terminate access
Recover associated dispute fees and administrative costs
Submit evidence to the payment processor to contest the dispute
Although Auric generally maintains a no-refund policy where legally permitted, we may, at our sole discretion, consider limited refund requests under the following narrow circumstances:
Duplicate Charges
Documented duplicate billing for the same subscription period.
Material Service Outage
A verified platform-wide outage lasting more than 72 consecutive hours where no reasonable workaround existed.
Technical Inaccessibility
Demonstrable inability to access the platform due to a confirmed infrastructure failure attributable solely to Auric.
Regulatory Requirement
Where required by applicable law.
Extraordinary Hardship
Rare and documented circumstances evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
For clarity:
Refunds are not issued for dissatisfaction, change of business model, lack of usage, user error, integration issues, or misunderstanding of features.
Any discretionary refund may be partial, credit-based, or conditional.
Auric may require written documentation before consideration.
All refund decisions are final.
In lieu of a monetary refund, Auric may, at its sole discretion:
Issue account credits
Extend service time
Apply billing adjustments to future invoices
Credits:
Have no cash value
Are non-transferable
Expire 90 days from issuance unless otherwise stated
Cancellation or refund approval does not entitle you to continued data access beyond the Terms of Service.
Upon termination:
Access ceases immediately or at the end of the billing cycle
Data may be permanently deleted
Auric has no obligation to retain, export, or recover data
Auric reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
You waive claims to refunds except where expressly provided in this policy, required by applicable law, or required under binding Consumer rights.
